Administrative Overview

  • DTU boys and girls hostels are meant for full time B.E. / B.Tech., M.Tech., MBA students and Ph.D. scholars only.
  • Vice Chancellor or his nominee will be the provost of the University Hostels. He will be assisted by the Warden Council comprising of the Chief Warden and other Wardens of different hostels. The Warden shall look after the general administration/maintenance and extra curricular activities of their respective hostels.
  • The policies of the hostel are decided by the Warden Council under the overall guidelines and policies of the University. The decision of the Warden Council of the hostel in the matter of duration of stay, allotment of seats to the residents of different disciplines/ categories, guest status fees and other rules for students, shall be final and binding.
  • The admissions are made as per the rules approved by the Wardens Council of the Hostel.
  • The main hostel office is located at the Ramanujan (Transit Hostel), ground floor room no. 2. The Officer –in-Charge of the hostels manages the Hostel facilities in the campus with the assistance of Warden Council. The Wardens have their offices in their respective hostels.
  • Hostel Application/Registration forms shall be available at our website : hostels.dtu.ac.in
  • The Bulletin of Information containing the rules & regulations will be issued by the hostel office on payment of Rs. 100/- to all the allot-tee of the hostels.
